Oniria Therapeutics at BIO International Convention 2023 in Boston

Oniria Therapeutics took part in the 2023 BIO International Convention, the most important partnering event for the global biotechnology sector, held June 5 through 8 in Boston.

BIO brought together over 14,000 industry leaders and investors for one week to discover new business opportunities and synergies. Esther Riambau, CEO and co-founder of Oniria Therapeutics, was there with the BioRegion of Catalonia delegation, led by Catalan Minister of Health Manel Balcells, alongside approximately 40 other innovative companies and organizations from the ecosystem.

Esther Riambau had several meetings to present Oniria Therapeutics as a biopharmaceutical spin-off of the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), University of Barcelona (UB) and the Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies (ICREA) that is developing innovative drugs for precision oncology to eliminate persistent tumor cells, which are responsible for patients progressing into fatal phases of cancer.

Oniria also took part in other key events in 2023, including BioSpain in Barcelona, BIO Europe in Munich, the Investival Showcase in London and the Mobile World Congress-4YFN in Barcelona.
